Telephone lines of sparrows
Huddled in the dark
Courtesy of A .T. & T.
As I drive along the less traveled byway
Lines singing overhead in fluffed shivers
Left, right, left, left, right, right, right
Reversed in my mirror then I pass by
Right, left, right, right, left, left, left
No neutralists here
You must take a stand
You're either right or left
Or you must take flight
No straddlers allowed
Birddom seems ready-made for decisiveness.
