Priyadarshini Pooja Arya, a trailblazing veteran camera person in Indian television, joined NDTV over 28 years ago as a production assistant. She pursued studies in production, lighting, and training at UCLA, the Film & Arts Institute, and PBS. Upon her return, she became one of the pioneering women wielding cameras.

Technically a news cameraperson, her passion lies in features. Her notable works include “24 Hours,” “India Matters,” and “24 Hours’ Zanana Hospital,” for which she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Videographer and the prestigious Commonwealth Awards.

Pooja is also a passionate photographer and runs Green Parrot Workshops, training young adults and adults in mobile photography.
