Packing away a winter, long and delayed, the one that wouldn't arrive, the one that still lingers. The one when we wove a blanket in togetherness, the warp of your dreams, the weft of my longing, so very ephemeral, so long enduring, the fervour in its yarn, the warmth in its weave. Now wrapped up in mothballs, out of harm's way, to be aired and donned, perhaps another day.
